Alivan Akbar has a diverse work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Software Engineer for Lumina | AI-powered 4K webcam, where they are working on image processing using OpenCL to optimize for performance and implementing core features for Apple macOS like Camera Plugins and data flow orchestrations. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Software Engineer for MONAD TECH, where they designed and implemented crypto-mining software written in C/C++ and Golang. Alivan also created a mining-software client to communicate mini computer (Beaglebone) with FPGA mining-chips and has a solid understanding of underlying principles of blockchain technology. In 2017, they held an Information Technology Internship at Keio University and an Engineering Internship at Yamaha Music.
