Patrick Crane is currently the State Policy Director at Lumina Foundation, where they focus on strategic initiatives in higher education. Previously, they held several leadership roles, including Director of Research and Data at the Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission and Director of Policy and Strategic Initiatives at the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission. Patrick also served as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for the North Carolina Community College System and has experience as an Education Policy Advisor under Governor Joe Manchin III. They earned a PhD in Higher Education from The University of Georgia and have an MPhil from the University of Oslo.
