Prior to this role, they held various positions including Executive Director at Cal State Student Association and Director of Special Initiatives at California State University, Office of the Chancellor. With a Ph.D. in Higher, Adult, & Lifelong Education from Michigan State University, they also have a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration.
