William Boswell

William Boswell is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in environmental testing, particularly for automotive and communication technologies. Currently serving as a Sr Test Engineer at Luminar Technologies since May 2017, William focuses on the environmental testing and screening of LIDAR units. Prior to this role, William worked as a Test Engineer at Harris Corporation, conducting environmental testing for various components and systems. Additionally, William operated as an Environmental Test Consultant, providing expertise to clients such as Qualtest, Inc. As the Chief Technical Officer at Qualtest, Inc., William acted as a subject matter expert in environmental testing, interpreting test specifications. William's career began at Northrop Grumman Laser Systems, where notable contributions included the creation of test procedures and performing design characterization testing for electronic and electro-optical assemblies. William holds an Associate of Science degree in Structural Engineering from Valencia College, earned between 1975 and 1978.
