Eric Knox

Eric Knox has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2022, they became the Chief Information Security Officer at Luminare Health. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2022, Eric worked at Trustmark as the Executive Director - IT Governance, Risk and Compliance, overseeing various compliance-related initiatives and security audits/assessments. Before that, from 2017 to 2018, they worked at Knox Consulting Services as a Program and Project Manager, specializing in business process improvement. From 2016 to 2017, Eric served as the Director of Strategic Projects at SEKO Logistics, responsible for implementing the Program Management Office. At CSC, from 2011 to 2016, they held the role of Deputy PMO Manager and Cybersecurity Project Manager, and from 2005 to 2011, they were the Hotel Systems Installations Project Manager for the Hyatt Account. Eric also has experience at Sears, where from 2004 to 2005, they were the Workflow Manager, and from 1998 to 2004, they served as a Senior Engineer, specifically as the Operations Manager for The Great Indoors chain of stores. Eric's earliest work experience was as a Sales Representative at Elek-Tek from 1991 to 1994.

Eric Knox completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2016. Prior to that, between 2009 and 2012, they earned a Master's degree in IT Project Management from DePaul University. In 1999, Eric received their Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications from Roosevelt University. Additionally, they hold several certifications, including CISSP from (ISC)² obtained in 2022, CRISC from ISACA obtained in 2021, Six Sigma Green Belt earned in 2010, ITIL v3 - Foundation Level achieved in 2009, and PMP certifications from the Project Management Institute obtained in 2008.
