Jason Lango

CEO & Co-founder at Luminary Cloud

Jason Lango has had a long and successful career in the tech industry. Jason started in 1998 as a Member of Technical Staff at Silicon Graphics. In 1999, they moved to NetApp as a Senior Engineer, providing technical leadership in growth areas for their storage business. In 2006, they joined Cisco Systems through the acquisition of IronPort Systems, where they were a Principal Engineer (Technical Director) and Lead Architect, Web Security (product-line CTO). In 2010, they returned to Sutter Hill Ventures as an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR). In 2011, they co-founded and started Bracket Computing, which was eventually sold to VMware in 2018. Finally, in 2019, they became the CEO & Co-founder of Luminary Cloud, where they are currently reimagining high-performance computing.

Jason Lango attended Friends Seminary from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained their high school degree. Jason then went on to Brown University from 1993 to 1998, where they earned their Sc.B. in Computer Science.
