Tracy Yang

Tracy Yang has been in the tech industry since 2005. Tracy began their career as an Analyst at Accenture, then moved to Cisco as an IT Analyst in 2007. In 2008, they joined Facebook as a Technical Project Manager, where they managed a 6-person SCRUM software development team and was responsible for daily stand-ups and feature prioritization. In 2014, they became a Teaching Assistant at Stanford University, where they taught core undergrad design curriculum and led design thinking workshops. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Product Designer & Researcher, designing software across web, tablet and mobile for clients such as early stage startups and established e-commerce brands. Tracy then moved to Neon Black Design as a Design Consultant, creating design research plans and conducting in-depth ethnographic research. In 2017, they joined Stride Software as a Product Design Lead, overseeing all aspects of design including visual and interaction design, design systems, user research, product quality and marketing collateral. In 2019, they became the Head of Design at Luminary Cloud.

Tracy Yang obtained a BS in Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley in 2005. Tracy then went on to pursue a MS in Product Design from Stanford University, which they completed in 2015.
