Yin Yu

Yin Yu is a Machine Learning Researcher currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, focusing on geometric deep learning for engineering applications. They have developed physics-informed Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) and reduced-order models (ROMs) to model complex systems efficiently. Yin has previous experience as a CFD Engineer at Caterpillar Inc. and Karma Automotive LLC, where they contributed significantly to aerodynamic design and optimization. They also held roles at the University of Michigan and Penn State University, conducting research and teaching in aerospace contexts. At Luminary Cloud, Yin is engaged in delivering and deploying Physics AI solutions.
