Martin Tisné

Martin Tisné has extensive work experience in various organizations and roles within the field of transparency, accountability, and open data. Martin is currently working as the Vice President at Luminate since October 2018. In addition, they are a Member of the UK AI Council since May 2019. From 2015 to 2022, they served as a Board Member at The Open Data Institute. Prior to that, they worked at Omidyar Network as an Investment Partner from 2016 to 2018 and as the Director of Policy from 2012 to 2016. Martin also co-founded and served as the Lead Steward at the Open Data Charter from 2015 to 2018. Furthermore, they were a Co-Chair at The Transparency and Accountability Initiative from 2013 to 2018. Martin has held various roles at Open Knowledge (formerly Open Knowledge Foundation), Open Government Partnership, Publish What You Fund, and Transparency & Accountability Initiative. Martin Tisné has played key roles in promoting transparency and open data initiatives throughout their career.

Martin Tisné holds an MSc degree in International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Martin also completed their BA in Modern History from the University of Oxford. No specific start or end years are provided for their education.
