Atul Salhotra is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as Principal Engineer at Luminate Wireless, Inc. since April 2014. Previously, Atul held the position of Engineering Director at Marvell Semiconductors from January 2004 to April 2014, where responsibilities included managing a team of over 20 system engineers involved in WLAN transceiver design across various domains such as algorithm conceptualization, simulator modeling, RTL verification, and silicon characterization. Atul possesses a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

Luminate Wireless is developing an end-to-end distributed mobile network system to make it easier to add capacity and assured mobile services for enterprises of any size. In this system, key management-plane, control as well as data-plane functions in the mobile network are moved to a centralized and virtualized entity that can be implemented as aprivate or a public cloud.
