Richard Smith

Richard Smith currently serves as the VP of Legal Integration and Group Head of Legal at Lumine Group since June 2021. Prior to this role, Richard held the position of Head of Legal at Incopro from January 2019 to February 2021 and at Receipt Bank from September 2017 to October 2018. Richard's experience also includes serving as a Senior Attorney at Microsoft from April 2016 to September 2017, General Counsel at SwiftKey from June 2012 to March 2016, and Legal Director for the UK and Ireland at The Number UK Limited from June 2004 to May 2012. Earlier in the career, Richard worked as Senior Legal Counsel at Orange from 1998 to 2004. Richard's educational background includes a degree in English Law and Spanish Law from the University of Kent, supplemented by studies at The College of Law in Chester and Universidad Complutense de Madrid, along with an education at Haberdashers’ Monmouth School.
