Gen Pei Lauer

Director of Process and Device: Microdisplay at Lumiode

Gen Pei Lauer began their career in 2004 as a Staff Device Engineer for AMD, where they worked with CMOS Logic. In 2008, they moved to SanDisk as a Staff Device Engineer for NAND Flash. In 2010, they joined IBM T J Watson Research Center as a Research Scientist for MRAM. In 2021, they became the Director of Process and Device for Microdisplay at Lumiode, Inc.

Gen Pei Lauer completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Material Science and Engineering at Beihang University from 1995 to 1999. Gen Pei then went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University from 1999 to 2004. In 2015, Gen Pei Lauer attended IBM Training Center for a Micro MBA, and in 2016 they attended IBM Training Center for an Advanced Micro MBA. In 2011, Gen Pei Lauer obtained a Patent Agent certification from the USPTO.
