Emily Nesbitt, CPA, CA has a diverse work experience in the accounting field. Emily began their career at Canadian Tire in 2014 as an Accounting Analyst Co-op, working in Real Estate Accounting. In 2015, they joined EY as a Staff Accountant and held that position until April 2017. Emily then returned to EY in 2018 as a Senior Accountant, where they worked until October 2020. Emily then advanced to the role of Assurance Manager at EY from October 2020 to September 2021. Currently, Emily works at LumiQ, starting in September 2021 as a Host & Technical Accounting Producer. Emily then progressed to the position of Host & Senior Technical Accounting Producer from July 2022 to April 2023. As of April 2023, Emily is employed by LumiQ as the Host & Manager of Technical Education.

Emily Nesbitt, CPA, CA obtained their Bachelor of Accounting, Co-op Honours degree from the Goodman School of Business at Brock University in 2017. Emily then pursued further education and completed a Master's of Accounting degree at the same institution in 2018. During their undergraduate studies, Emily also had the opportunity to study at NEOMA Business School for a short period in 2016. In April 2020, they obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario).
