Graydon James has a diverse work experience. graydon worked as a Front-End Web Developer at LumiQ starting from April 2023. Prior to that, they were the Lead Hair (and sometimes Singer-Songwriter, Booking Agent, Tour Manager, Grant Writer...) for the group "The Young Novelists" since August 2009. graydon also owned and operated "Typewriter Studio" since August 2013, where they composed and recorded their own music and produced and engineered recordings for others. Additionally, they served as a drummer and vocalist for "The Bad Apples" since April 2014. Graydon further strengthened their skills by completing a 12-week bootcamp focused on web development at Juno College of Technology from November 2022 to February 2023.

Graydon James attended the Juno College of Technology from 2022 to 2023, where they obtained a certificate in Front-end Web Development. Prior to that, they studied at the University of Waterloo from 1981 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Math degree with a major in Computer Science.
