Dave Luebke

CEO at LumiShield Technologies

Dave Luebke has worked in the field of carbon capture for over two decades. Dave began their career at the National Energy Technology Laboratory, where they led a team that researched ways to reduce the cost of carbon dioxide capture from power generation systems. In 2014, they left NETL to become the CEO of LumiShield Technologies, a company that was developing a pretreatment technology aimed at disrupting the coatings market. Under Luebke's leadership, the company was able to commercialize the technology and grow significantly. In 2021, they stepped down as CEO but remains involved with the company as its chief technical advisor.

Dave Luebke received their B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas and their Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
