Brett Heller

Brett Heller is a seasoned legal professional specializing in intellectual property with extensive experience in patent preparation, prosecution, licensing, and litigation across a diverse range of industries including alternative energy, manufacturing, and oil and gas. Currently serving as Chief IP Counsel and Principal Counsel at Lummus Technology since July 2020, Brett previously held the position of Principal Counsel for Intellectual Property at McDermott International Inc. from November 2018 to July 2020. Prior roles include Associate at Patterson + Sheridan, LLP, and Patent Attorney at Chamberlain Hrdlicka and Osha Liang LLP, where responsibilities encompassed patent prosecution and counseling in various technical fields. Brett holds a J.D. in Intellectual Property from South Texas College of Law and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University.
