Fredy Cabrales

Fredy Cabrales is a seasoned R&D professional with extensive experience in the fields of refining, petrochemicals, and sustainable technology. Currently serving as a Senior R&D Engineer II at Lummus Technology since February 2020, Fredy leads innovative R&D projects from conceptual design to commercialization. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior R&D Engineer I at CNOOC International, overseeing key R&D projects and facilitating communication between contractors and internal teams. Fredy has also conducted significant research at the University of Calgary, focusing on catalysis and reaction engineering, and holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering. Educational credentials further include a Master's degree from Universidade Estadual de Campinas and a Bachelor's degree from Universidad Industrial de Santander, complemented by a CORe Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online.
