Leon de Bruyn has extensive work experience in the engineering and technology sector. Leon began their career at ABB Lummus Global in 1993, working as a Business Development Manager and (Lead) Process Engineer. Leon then moved to Chevron Lummus Global (CLG) in 2000, where they served as the Regional Manager for Europe. In 2004, they took on a special assignment at Chevron before returning to CLG as the VP and Director of Russia in 2008. In 2009, they became the Business Manager at Chevron Lummus Global (CLG) and later assumed the role of VP, joint venture Managing Director in 2011. In 2019, they joined McDermott International, Ltd as the SVP of Lummus Technology, before becoming the Chief Executive Officer of Lummus Technology in 2020.
Leon de Bruyn has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, obtained from 2015 to 2016. Leon also completed an Advanced Management Program (AMP61) at The Wharton School in 2011. In 1997, Leon earned a degree in Marketing (Nima-A&B) from ISBW Opleiding & Training. Leon'seducation journey began with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, which they attained from 1987 to 1993.
