Sydney Sweet

Sydney Sweet is a skilled Process Engineer II at Lummus Technology, with extensive experience in process simulations, flow diagrams, and equipment design gained through the Early Career Rotational Program. Previously, Sydney held the position of Undergraduate Researcher at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, focusing on Atmospheric Black Carbon modeling and nanoparticle-mediated oral delivery for diabetes treatment, receiving a URI grant and recognition for outstanding presentations. Additional roles include tutoring in advanced mathematics and internships at Allied Engineering and Design, as well as Infineum, where contributions were made to risk assessment and project planning. Sydney is also a talented musician, having performed as a flutist in various notable events. Sydney earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and completed a study abroad semester at the University of Melbourne.
