Alfredo Jose Merida Lopez has held various roles in different companies. Alfredo Jose served as the President of the International Students Association at UCSD starting in January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Lumnus Consulting as a VP of Sales and Consultant, where they also served as a Junior Enterprise Ambassador between July 2020 and July 2021. Alfredo Jose started their professional career as an External Intern at NETS UCSD in October 2019. Before that, they were a Management Intern at Inmobiliaria TERRO from June 2018 to September 2018, where they gained experience in transaction management, digital marketing, and accounting.
Alfredo Jose Merida Lopez completed their IGCSE Diploma at Greengates School Mexico in 2016 and then went on to earn an AP Capstone/IB Course Certificate at the same school in 2018. Alfredo Jose later pursued a degree in Nanoengineering specializing in Materials Engineering at UC San Diego from 2018 to 2022. Additionally, they obtained an IB Course Certificate in Chemistry Higher Level from the International Baccalaureate and an International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) from Cambridge Assessment International Education.

Junior Enterprise has partnered with a number of corporate companies, including Microsoft, McKinsey, and Kraft-Heinz to name a few.
