Marko Kallio is a postdoctoral researcher and environmental consultant with extensive experience in hydrology and environmental modeling. Since 2015, Marko has worked as a freelancer, providing consulting services to various organizations, including the UN FAO and the Environmental Impact Assessment Finland Ltd. Marko's past roles include a modeling expert at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Lao PDR and a project engineer conducting water quality studies. Marko has also held teaching positions at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and served as a night watch at a vocational school for individuals with special needs. Marko holds a Doctor of Science degree in Geoinformatics from Aalto University.
