Andrej Safundzic

Co-Founder at Lumos

Andrej Safundzic has had a diverse range of work experiences. In 2014, they co-founded and became the CEO of Next Generation Events, where they are currently serving as the chief advisor. In 2016, they worked as a Product Manager for NavVis, a company focused on indoor mapping and virtual interaction technology. In the same year, Andrej also co-founded and served as the Advisory Chairman for EduGlobe. In 2017, they became a Kairos Fellow, a network of global leaders using entrepreneurship and innovation to solve global challenges. Andrej also co-founded StartHub Africa in 2017, which aims to provide access to higher education for young African individuals. In 2018, Andrej was a Co-Founder of DigitalService4Germany, initially starting as Tech4Germany. Andrej is also a Data Science/Machine Learning Consultant at QuantCo, where they work on algorithmic pricing and forecasting solutions. Lastly, in 2020, they became an Alchemist at Lumos, a company building the first AppStore for companies.

Andrej Safundzic has a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Technology & Management from the Technical University of Munich. Andrej also attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business for a Master of Business Administration degree, but dropped out to pursue Lumos. Additionally, they studied Computer Science at Harvard University. Prior to their higher education, Andrej completed their Abitur/A-Levels at Karlsgymnasium High School.
