Michael Wood

Michael Wood is a seasoned professional in the field of ASIC engineering, currently serving as a Senior ASIC Engineer at Lumotive since January 2024. Prior experience includes a position as Staff ASIC Engineer at RapidSilicon, where Michael integrated DDR controllers and designed multi-bank memory controllers. Michael's background also features a role as an ASIC Verification Engineer at ON Semiconductor, focusing on RTL design verification and validation for complex systems, including wireless communications and Ethernet protocols. Earlier experiences involve research in software driver debugging at CSU Chico Research Foundation and a role as a Resident Advisor at California State University, Chico, where community engagement and event planning were key responsibilities. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from California State University, Chico, attained in January 2018.
