Erick Sarmiento Rodriguez

Erick Sarmiento Rodriguez has over five years of work experience in the IT field. Erick began their career in 2016 as an IT Support Technician at Playland. In 2017, they joined Easy Solutions, a Cyxtera Business, as a DevOps Engineer and Production Systems Engineer. In 2019, they worked as an Implementation Engineer at Nuberus SAS. In 2020, they were a DevOps Engineer at Grability, where they were responsible for infrastructure deployment under code using Cloudformation and Azure Devops, application deployment using AWS EKS, ECS, OPSWORKS, CODEPIPELINE, CODEBUILD, and monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus, NewRelic. Currently, they are a DevOps Engineer at both Lumu Technologies and Appgate.

Erick Sarmiento Rodriguez has an extensive educational background. From 2015 to 2017, they attended Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA) and obtained a degree in Tecnologo en sistemas. From 2018 to 2020, they attended Fundación Universitaria Panamericana and obtained a degree in Ingeniería de telecomunicaciones. Additionally, Erick has obtained several certifications, including AWS Solutions Training for Partners: Foundations - Technical from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2019, LPIC NDG Linux Essentials from Cisco Networking Academy in October 2015, CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in November 2021, CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer from The Linux Foundation in June 2021, and Amazon EKS Deep Dive from Linux Academy.
