Ido Fuchs has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to 2018. Ido began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The Hebrew University in 2007. Ido then worked as a Senior Instructor at Belamonte Science Center for Youth. In 2008, they took on the role of Teaching Assistant at Jerusalem College of Engineering. From 2010 to 2016, they worked as a Researcher at Weizmann Institute of Science. In 2016, they joined Teva Pharmaceuticals as an Intellectual Property (IP) Creation Team Member for Teva Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (TAPI). Finally, in 2018, they joined Lumus Ltd. as a Project and Process Team Leader and Material and Chemical Process Engineer.

Ido Fuchs obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Material Chemistry from Bar-Ilan University between 2011 and 2015. From 2012 to 2014, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Management and Organizational Behavior Specialization from Bar-Ilan University. Ido also obtained a Master's Degree in material chemistry and polymers from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem between 2008 and 2010. In 2005, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Additionally, they obtained a XHR-SEM certification from Bar Ilan Institute for Nanotechnology and Advanced materials (BINA) in October 2011.
