LUMUT PORT
Firdaus Mat Jusoh has extensive experience in engineering, particularly in mechanical maintenance and project management. Currently serving as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at Lumut Port since March 2020, Firdaus manages preventive and predictive maintenance projects and addresses technical and maintenance-related challenges. Previous roles include Project Engineer at Euro-Tech Asia International Sdn. Bhd., specializing in industrial gear service and optimization, and Project Engineer at SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad, where coordination of engineering teams and project specifications was a key responsibility. Firdaus also worked briefly as a Production Engineer at Rohm Wako Electronics and completed an internship as a Mechanical Engineer Trainee at Malaysia Marine & Heavy Engineering. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, awarded in 2014.
LUMUT PORT
Lumut Maritime Terminal Sdn Bhd, known as Lumut Port is strategically located off the Straits of Malacca, on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia, in Perak. The Port was established as a State Port and a catalyst for economic growth, development and industrialization of the State and the nation in general. It owns and operates the port at Kg Acheh, Lumut which was officiated on 24th July 1995 and have been in operation for more than 20 years. In 2002, Lumut Port began to operate and manage Lekir Bulk Terminal. Lumut Port Industrial Park provides land space for warehousing or transshipment and is on offer for local and foreign investors who are able to contribute to the throughput of the Port. In 2016, Lumut Maritime Terminal has certified to ISO 9001:2015.
