Trent Edwards

Trent Edwards holds the position of President, Canada Land & Housing at Brookfield Properties since January 2021, with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the real estate and development sectors. In addition to this role, Trent serves on the Board of Directors for Calgary Economic Development and as Director & Chair of the Fundraising Committee for the Sheldon Kennedy Child Advocacy Centre. Previous positions include Chief Operating Officer for Alberta at Brookfield Residential and COO, Residential for Brookfield Multiplex. Trent Edwards also contributed as a Senator at the University of Calgary and actively participated in the Urban Land Institute as Chair of Outreach & Membership. The academic background includes a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Alberta, earned between 1992 and 1995.
