Ian Shannan

Ian Shannan has had extensive experience in sales and business development. Ian started their career as a Sales Engineer at wandel & goltermann in 1986 and later became a Business Development Manager at the same company. In 2000, they joined Acterna as a Business Development Manager until 2003. From 2004 to 2005, they worked as a Sales Manager at Seven Layer Communications. Ian then moved on to Circadiant Systems Inc from 2005 to 2007, where they served as the European Sales Director. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Sales EMEA at Luna Innovations Incorporated, a role they have held since 2020. Prior to that, they were the Director of EMEA Sales at Luna Innovations.

Ian Shannan attended Edinburgh Napier University from 1980 to 1985. Ian studied Electronic & Electrical Engineering during this time, but did not obtain a degree.
