Pierre Morel

Pierre Morel has worked in various roles across different companies. Pierre is currently the Product Development Director of Systems Engineering at Luna Labs USA, and previously held the position of VP Application Engineering at RTEC-INSTRUMENTS INC. and Engineering Consultant at PVM Engineering. Before that, they worked at Anton Paar USA as Product Line Expert/Manager and Technical Sales & Marketing Manager for AFM/Indentation/Scratch/Tribology Products, and at MITRE as Systems Engineer Lead/Project Management. Pierre started their career as a Sailboat Designer intern at VPLP Design and worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Alcatel. Their most relevant experience includes managing sales teams, providing technical training to sales departments and customers, and leading projects and groups in the development and manufacture of new products.

Pierre Morel has a diverse education history which includes a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ecole nationale d'Ingénieurs de Saint-Etienne, France in 2000 and a Master's degree in Materials Science Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2002. Pierre also obtained an Executive MBA with a focus on strategy, globalization, and leadership from The George Washington University School of Business between 2008 and 2010. Additionally, they have various certifications in business process management, project management, and lean six sigma from institutions such as the Business Process Management Institute and the Project Management Institute. In 2019, they obtained a certification in the Universal Principles of Design on LinkedIn.
