Paul Uttley

Paul Uttley has extensive work experience in the field of accounting and finance. Paul began their career as a Junior Accountant at Champion Accountants in 2004, where they gained experience in tasks such as VAT Returns and Limited Company Accounts. During their time there, they also completed their study with the AAT, earning the MAAT qualification.

In 2007, Paul joined MALTHOUSE & COMPANY LIMITED as an Accountant and worked on various accounting services, including tax advice, audit, and limited company accounts. Paul developed strong relationships with clients and further developed their skills through CPD training. Paul remained with the company until 2013.

From 2013 to 2014, Paul took on the role of Finance Manager at Utility Retail Limited, a growing retail company. Paul was responsible for managing financial duties and implementing new systems and controls across the stores, website, and warehouse.

Paul returned to MALTHOUSE & COMPANY LIMITED in 2014 in a more senior position as a Senior Accountant. In this role, they worked directly with partners and provided a range of services to a portfolio of clients. Paul specialized in solicitors accounts rule audits and also handled tax preparation, limited company accounts, and audits.

In 2018, Paul took a break from their career and became a traveler, but in 2019, they joined Transpoco as a Financial Controller, where they continued to use their financial expertise.

Most recently, Paul has assumed the position of Chief Financial Officer at Luna Systems in 2021.

Paul Uttley attended KGV Sixth Form College in Southport from 2002 to 2004, where they pursued A Levels. Paul then went on to complete their education at AAT from 2004 to 2007, earning a FMAAT degree. However, no information regarding the field of study for both degrees is provided.
