Cindy Wei

Tzu-Ting, Cindy Wei is an Associate at Lunar Ventures since August 2022, focusing on sourcing and landscape mapping. Concurrently, Tzu-Ting is a PhD student at the Max Delbrück Center, developing a Snakemake pipeline for statistical analysis in allele-specific gene expression. Previous experience includes roles as a Predoctoral Researcher at Universitätsklinikum Freiburg, where Tzu-Ting established an ATAC-seq analysis pipeline, and as an Intern at DKFZ, building a machine learning classifier for tissue origin identification. Tzu-Ting's background includes a Master of Science in Translational Medical Research from Heidelberg University and a Bachelor's Degree in Life Science from National Tsing Hua University, with expertise in statistical and machine learning methods, RNAseq, and mathematical modeling. Publications include work on non-invasive glucose evaluation, and Tzu-Ting has received recognition for innovation in the life sciences through various hackathons and presentations.
