Mette Slotved Thomsen

Mette Slotved Thomsen is currently the Director of Financial Crime Risk Management (MLRO) at Lunar, where responsibilities include overseeing risk assessment, policies, procedures, and controls. In addition, Mette serves on the Board Risk & Compliance Committee at Januar. Previously, Mette held various positions at EY from February 2017 to January 2024, culminating in the role of Director and leading the Danish FinCrime Team. Prior experience includes serving as a Special Advisor at Finanstilsynet, overseeing the new Danish AML/CFT Act, and working at Spillemyndigheden, where Mette was involved in the liberalization of the Danish online gambling market. Mette began a career in management as a Bar Manager at Train. Mette holds a Master’s degree in Law from Aarhus University and has completed a project management program at Mannaz.
