Daniel Hellström

Daniel Hellström serves as the Head of Division for Packaging Logistics at Lund University since March 2007, focusing on the integration of packaging, logistics, product development, and marketing within innovative processes. Hellström holds the position of Associate Professor and also acts as the Research Director for ReLog, a collaborative platform aimed at fostering interdisciplinary research to enhance industry skills and innovation. Additionally, as Co-director of the LTH Career Academy, Hellström supports the professional development of newly appointed associate senior lecturers. In roles as Co-deputy Director at Centrum för handelsforskning and Academic Researcher at ASTER, Hellström contributes to interdisciplinary retail research and promotes sustainable e-commerce initiatives. Hellström previously directed the Erasmus Mundus Master in Food Innovation and Product Design and completed a PhD at Lund University, investigating the nexus between packaging and logistics. Daniel Hellström earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Logistics Engineering and Management from the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University.
