Thomas Hellmark

Thomas Hellmark serves as the Vice Dean responsible for education at the Faculty of Medicine, Lund University, since March 2016, and holds the position of Chairman of The Master’s Programmes Board. At Lund University, where Thomas has worked since January 2004, multiple roles include Senior Lecturer, Program Director, and Researcher. Previous experience includes a post-doctoral position at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2000 to 2001. Educational qualifications comprise a PhD in Experimental Nephrology from Lund University (1993-1999) and dual Master’s degrees in Chemistry and Biotechnology from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University (1988-1994).
