Rebecca Heintz

Rebecca has worked as an attorney in the field of health care for the past 15 years. She is currently general counsel at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont and also serves on the Medicaid and Exchange Advisory Board. Rebecca’s other work experience includes being Assistant General Counsel for the State of Vermont working at what was then called the Department of Banking, Insurance, Securities and Health Care Administration and serving as Deputy Commissioner for the Department of Mental Health. Lund's services include the only residential treatment program in Vermont where women can receive treatment for substance abuse and mental health issues and keep their children with them, an education program for pregnant and parenting young women, early childhood education program, Vermont's oldest and largest private adoption agency, reach up case management, job skills training, parenting and family education, outpatient clinical and counseling services, Kids-A-Part a program that keeps mothers and their children connected during the mother's incarceration, transitional living services and other program that help Vermont's women and children to thrive.
