Elizabeth Barksdale

Director of Regulatory Affairs and Scientific Policy at LUNGevity Foundation

Dr. Barksdale plays a key role in developing and executing the company’s regulatory affairs strategy, as well as offering research and scientific content for its policy work.

Dr. Barksdale came to LUNGevity from the American Association for Cancer Research, where she served as Assistant Director for Regulatory Science and Policy. Prior to that, she focused on clinical research and biomedical research training at the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology. She has a PhD in molecular medicine from The George Washington University.
