John Garczynski

John Garczynski has over 20 years of professional experience in software engineering. John began their career in 1996 as a Software Engineer at Honeywell Process Solutions. In 1999, they moved to Mars Electronics as a Software Engineer. In 2000, they joined Draeger Medical as a Senior Software Engineer. John then worked for Aviom, Inc. from 2004 to 2014, first as a Software Engineer and then as a Software Engineering Manager. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at Globus Medical. Most recently, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at Lungpacer Medical Inc. since 2018.

John Garczynski has a long and varied educational background. John received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University between 1990 and 1994. John then attended Drexel University from 2000 to 2006, studying Biomedical Engineering and Engineering Management. In 2015, they obtained a Certified Scrum Master certification from IT University Online. In 2016, they obtained several certifications from Lynda.com, including Git Essential Training, Installing and Administering Atlassian JIRA, Up and Running with Git and GitHub, Fundamentals of Software Version Control, Version Control for Everyone, Thinking Like a Leader, Leadership Fundamentals, Leading and Working in Teams, Stepping Up to Leadership, Teamwork Fundamentals, and Up and Running with MATLAB. John is currently enrolled in the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education.
