Shafiq Samsudin

Shafiq Samsudin is the CEO and Founder of Lunos, an insurance specialist recruitment firm based in Singapore with additional offices in Hong Kong, since June 2024. Prior to this role, Shafiq served as Managing Director for FocusCore Singapore from September 2015 to June 2024, leading operations in both Singapore and Hong Kong. Shafiq's earlier experience includes serving as Head of (Re)Insurance - Asia and Director of the Singapore office at The Emerald Group, where responsibilities centered on expanding the company's market presence and developing the Non-Life Actuarial practice in Asia. Additionally, Shafiq worked as a Consultant in Financial Services at Morgan McKinley from July 2010 to May 2012. Shafiq holds a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, earned from 2006 to 2010, and attended St. Andrew's Junior College from 2002 to 2003.
