Riitta Rahkonen

Riitta Rahkonen has a diverse background in research and management within the fields of aquatic ecosystems, wildlife populations, plant production & health, soil ecology, forest management & health, and quality of inland and coastal waters. From their early days as a Researcher at the Finnish Game and Fisheries Research Institute to their current role as Development Manager at Natural Resources Institute Finland, Riitta has played key roles in various organizations including the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. With a PhD in Biology, Zoology, Genetics, and Botanics from the University of Jyväskylä, Riitta brings a wealth of expertise to their work.
