Saravanan Dorai

Saravanan Dorai is an experienced professional in quality control within the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Head of Quality Control at Lupin since August 2022, Saravanan is responsible for batch releases, stability testing, method transfers, validations, and compliance. Prior to this role, Saravanan was the Senior Director of Quality Control at Biocon Biologics from July 2021 to August 2022, overseeing critical QC operations, including audits and training. Saravanan's earlier experience at Biocon from June 2003 to June 2021 as Senior Manager QC involved leading technology and method transfers to renowned international organizations while ensuring validation processes aligned with customer and market requirements. Saravanan holds a degree in Chemistry from Cordite Factory, completed between 1987 and 1994.
