Matt Pollins has a diverse work experience in the legal and technology industries. Matt is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Product & Strategy Officer at Lupl, where they are leading the development of an open industry platform for legal matters. Prior to joining Lupl in 2020, Matt served as Director at the International Institute of Communications (IIC), where they facilitated discussions and policy-making in the telecoms, media, and technology sectors. Matt also worked as a Partner at CMS, specializing in technology, innovation, and TMT law. During their time at CMS, they established a successful TMT team in Singapore. Before joining CMS, Matt held various roles at Olswang (now CMS) in both Singapore and London, including Principal Associate and Trainee Solicitor. Matt gained valuable experience as a Legal Counsel at YouView TV Limited and as a Legal and Business Affairs Executive at the BBC. Matt's expertise spans a wide range of areas, including legal strategy, technology law, policy development, and team leadership.

Matt Pollins has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Literature and History from Durham University. Matt also obtained a Legal Practice Course degree from BPP Law School, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Law from the same institution. Additionally, they hold the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) certification from Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in September 2019. Matt is also a member of the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals, which they joined in May 2023.
