Nicole Cooper, MPH, currently serves as a Project Manager at the Lupus Research Alliance since July 2023. Prior to this role, Nicole worked as a Research Associate in Community Engagement at the Parkinson's Foundation and as a Program Coordinator II at the Medical University of South Carolina. Previously, Nicole held the position of STD/HIV Health Educator at the South Carolina Department of Health & Environmental Control and served as a Health Resource Volunteer with the Peace Corps. Earlier experiences include roles at Bridges of Hope, where Nicole coordinated bereavement programs, and as an intern at the Center for Women. Nicole also held the position of Chapter President at the Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children, overseeing medical relief trips and organizational activities. Nicole began their career as a Summer Hire with the Berkeley County School District. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science in Spanish and International Health from Clemson University.
