Diogo Pires is an experienced journalist currently serving as a Jornalista at Lusa since March 2019. Previously, Diogo held the position of Social Media Manager at sUPport from May 2018 to March 2019 and completed a three-month internship at Lusa in the sports section in late 2018. Diogo also contributed as a writer for Jornal Pontivírgula between September 2017 and June 2018 and served as the Treasurer for the Associação de Estudantes da Faculdade de Ciências Humanas during the 2017-2018 academic year. Additionally, Diogo interned at Clube Oriental de Lisboa for roughly three months, where various roles included narrating football matches and managing online updates. Diogo holds a Master's degree in Communication Sciences (Media and Journalism) and a Bachelor's degree in Social and Cultural Communication from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, along with an Erasmus experience at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria.
