Sofia Cortes Cadete has extensive experience in commercial direction, marketing, and event management. Since November 2018, Sofia has been with Lusa as Direção Comercial e Marketing | Comunicação e Eventos. Concurrently, Sofia is a Special Projects Coordinator at Global Media Group, managing significant events like the Lisbon Mobi Summit since May 2017. Previous roles include consulting at Comunicação Institucional, Media Relations e Eventos Especiais, and working in the Portuguese government as Relações Institucionais e Sociedade Civil. Although LUSA is owned in 50,15% by the state, 6 (six) private organizations control the rest of the capital; the annual revenues are around 17 million Euros.
