Joris Janssen has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Joris is the Co-Founder of Luscii, a digital healthcare platform that helps remotely monitor patients. At Safe enough to try, they are a Co-Founder and Writer, focused on building a culture of impact and engagement. Joris also works as an on-demand CTO and Green on & Holacracy coach at Joris geeft raad, where they advise startups, scale-ups, and investors on strategy, organization, and technology. As the Chief Technology Officer at FocusCura, they built a team and developed healthcare innovations. Joris also served as the Director of Product & Innovation at Sense Health, where they led product development in employee vitality and mental health care. Joris worked as a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University and conducted research on their PhD thesis. Joris was a Research Scientist at Philips Research, contributing to breakthrough innovations. Additionally, they had teaching and research assistant roles at Radboud University Nijmegen and Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics, respectively.
Joris Janssen completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Artificial Intelligence from Radboud University from 2003 to 2007. Joris then pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Artificial Intelligence from Radboud University from 2006 to 2008. Janssen went on to obtain their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Human Technology Interaction from Eindhoven University of Technology and Stanford University from 2008 to 2011.
