Ivo Yves Vieira

Ivo Yves Vieira is currently a member of the Board of the NOVA School of Science and Technology at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa since July 2023. Vieira is the CEO of LusoVU, leading the company in the development of AR smart glasses aimed at transforming social interaction. Additionally, Vieira serves as the Vice President and Space Coordinator for AED Cluster Portugal, focusing on relations with the Portuguese government in the space sector. With a background in academia and engineering, Vieira has held notable positions including being the National Coordinator for Project SSETI under ESA, and working as a researcher at INETI, where Vieira contributed to the development of satellite technology. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Management from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, a PhD in Physics from Instituto Superior Técnico, and an Engineering degree in Physics from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
