Julie Benson

Julie Benson, MPA, currently serves as the Data and Outcomes Manager at Lutheran Child & Family Services of IN and Northern KY since October 2022. With a robust background in nonprofit leadership, Julie held the position of Executive Director at Spina Bifida Association of Indiana from March 2018 to March 2020, where nearly tripled sponsorship income while managing board governance and program administration. Julie led efforts to rebrand the organization as Spina Bifida Indiana, serving as Board Chair from January 2021 to December 2022. Additional experience includes roles such as Development Manager at La Plaza, Inc., Project Director for the Freed to Lead Fund at the Indiana-Kentucky Synod, and Development Director at Cornea Research Foundation of America. Julie's academic credentials include a Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management from Indiana University Indianapolis and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington.
