Brian Brant, MSW has a diverse work experience in the field of child and family services. Brian began their career as a Youth Counselor at the Tennyson Center for Children and Families in 1995 and later served as a Family Support Specialist and Cottage Coordinator/Residential Supervisor. In 2000, Brian joined Bethany Christian Services as a Foster Care Coordinator and later became the Interim Director. Brian then worked as a Policy Assistant at the Colorado Association of Family and Children's Agencies.

From 2001 to 2002, Brian worked as a Contractor for Indian Child Welfare at Casey Family Programs. In 2004, they became a Board Member at the GLBT Community Center of Colorado.

Brian then transitioned into regional roles at the Child Welfare League of America. Brian worked as the Regional Coordinator for the Mountain-Plains Region from 2002 to 2004, the Regional Manager for the Mountain-Plains & Western Regions from 2004 to 2008, and the Director of the CWLA Mountain-Plains Region from 2008 to 2010.

In 2007, Brian interned at the National Conference of State Legislatures in the Child and Family Division.

From 2010 to 2016, they worked at the Colorado Department of Human Services, starting as a Rural Recruitment & Retention Specialist. Brian then served as the Chafee Program Coordinator, overseeing various programs and data collection. In 2015, Brian became the Adolescent Services Administrator.

Finally, Brian joined Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains in 2016 as the Vice President of Child and Family Services.

Brian Brant, MSW, completed their education in the field of social work. Brian obtained their Bachelor's degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Following their undergraduate studies, Brian pursued their Master's degree in Social Work at the University of Denver from 2008 to 2009.
