Andrew Swanson is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in information technology management. Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Information Technology at Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska, Inc., Andrew directs efforts to digitize agency services and leads major projects. Prior to this role, Andrew held various IT positions at Firespring, including Director of Information Technology and IT Project Manager, while also providing technical support as a Systems Administrator. Experience at Genesis Publisher Services as the Director of IT Services included implementing disaster recovery strategies and optimizing billing systems. Earlier career roles include IT Support Specialist at Sandhills Publishing and Assistant Manager at Knolls Country Club. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in French from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

LFS is a faith-based, not-for-profit, multi-service human care organization with locations across Nebraska and in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Whether it’s a little girl who has been abused, or a little boy struggling with his father’s repeated deployments, LFS stands ready to help. On any given day, LFS manages case files for approximately 2,000 children statewide. Thousands more – over the age of 18—also seek the help of LFS therapists, counselors, and specialists. Founded in 1892, LFS celebrates its 125th year of service in 2017 – marking 12 decades of support for all ages, all faiths, and all walks of life.
