Drew Snyder Mba, Rhia

Drew Snyder, MBA, RHIA has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Drew started their career as a Summer HIM Intern at Parkview Health in 2014, where they observed various HIM functions and updated department policies and procedures.

In 2015, Drew joined Parkview Health again and worked as a Temporary Data Integrity Specialist for a few months before becoming a Data Integrity Specialist. In this role, they focused on maintaining the integrity of the data and patient information within the MPI and EHR system. Drew also worked on chart correction and collaborated with front-line staff to identify errors in patient charts.

Later, Drew transitioned to the role of HIM System Analyst, providing technical and operational support to the HIM staff at Parkview Health. Drew assisted with hardware and software support and collaborated with other organization resources to resolve any issues the HIM staff may have been facing.

Currently, Drew is working at Lutheran Health Network as the Market Director of Decision Support.

Drew Snyder, MBA, RHIA, completed a Master's degree in Business Administration from Western Governors University in the period between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, Drew obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Health Information Management from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, specializing in Health Information/Medical Records Administration/Administrator, from 2012 to 2015. In 2011 to 2012, Drew attended Purdue University Fort Wayne to study Health Information/Medical Records Administration/Administrator. Additionally, Drew obtained the RHIA certification from AHIMA in August 2017.
